"To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord". That's what the Scripture tells us. Last night, a lovely and dear friend and member of our congregation went to be in the presence of the Lord. We take comfort in the knowing that this isn't "Goodbye", but simply, "I'll see you in a little while".
I thank the Lord for Tammy and the life she lived for Him. I'm thankful that she was a part of my life for the time I've known her. I thank the Lord that she's not suffering anymore, but is at peace in the presence of Jesus. We will all miss her. But we know that we'll see her again someday soon.
