I'm running out of subjects for blogging. Cheryl says I could write about recipes, pets, crafts. Recipes? I could do that. Of course, they wouldn't be my own recipes, but then I'm told there's no copyright on recipes. Is that true? I don't know if it is or isn't. Sometimes I use someone else's recipe and then do my own thing with it. Sometimes it turns out pretty tasty, and sometimes it doesn't. And sometimes, no matter how exact you follow the recipe, it just isn't the same as the original. did anyone ever see the episode of "Everybody Loves Raymond" when Marie was going to teach Debra how to cook? She put a fake label over the bottle of one of the spices in the recipe so that Debra's wouldn't turn out good. Sometimes I think when you've followed a recipe exactly and it doesn't turn out right, that's what's happened. The writer of the recipe secretly changed an ingredient, just so no one could duplicate it. Of course, I would never do something like that. Or would I? If I were to post a recipe here, you'd just have to try it to see if I listed the real ingredients. And if you thought it didn't taste just right, you'd never know if the recipe was just not a good recipe, or if it really was a good recipe and you just didn't know how to cook it right. Hee hee, I have a devious little mind, don't I! lol In reality, I'm not that great of a cook. There are a few things that I make really well, but most things I make are just so-so, or no good at all. Hubs sometimes will ask me to try a new recipe. I'll ask him, "What if it doesn't turn out good?" His reply is always "Then we'll just eat the evidence and no one will ever know".
And, there you have it, folks, another blog post full of the nonsensical ramblings that disguise themselves as my thoughts. :-) Peace out!

You're doing good, Brenda! I've enjoyed everything you've posted.
I love Everybody Loves Raymond, and I remember that episode. Hilarious. I also laughed so hard at the Tofu Turkey Thanksgiving episode.
Try serving that to your husband!
Good day to ya.
Brenda
