It's been a crazy week so far. On Sunday we dealt with losing our little bunny. On Monday we lost a dear friend and church member. We are doing the funeral this coming Saturday. It was supposed to have been the annual Pastor's Prayer Breakfast, but we've had to postpone that because of the funeral. Been working this week every day with one of our guitar players and our bass player on some new songs for church. In three days, we've learned three new songs, and worked on a fourth. The fourth song is going to require LOTS of work and lots of time. At least for me to learn it on the keyboard. Today I will be working on the music for the funeral. The husband of the lady who died told me she wants a full-on church service for her funeral. So that's what we'll be doing. It's going to be a celebration of her life, and that will be a really cool thing!
So far this month, I've posted something every day, even though some days (like yesterday) (and probably today, too) have been dumb. It's almost 30 days, but the "habit" hasnt' kicked in yet. I spend lots of time on my computer, but not so much time attending to my blog. Don't know that it will ever become a habit. It is a habit to read all your blogs every day, even if I don't comment back. Well, I'll just keep plugging along and hope it will eventually become a habit to write every single day, without having to work so hard at it.
Our church is providing a dinner for the family after the funeral and I'm planning to make lasagna, so maybe tomorrow I'll post my recipe. Or maybe my biscuit recipe, as I was planning to make those for the breakfast. We'll see.
Anyhow, if this post seems to be "rambling", it's because I actually wrote it last night at about 10:30 p.m. after a long day and I was exhausted. So the old "gray matter" is pretty gray and dull. And if you're still reading this far, you deserve an award for reading the longest, dumbest post ever at B'z Place. :o)

Not true, Brenda! I've never been bored with your writing. I learn something new, or something about you every time you write. And I'm not just saying that to make you feel good. Some of the other blogs I read are just like yours, they tell me about who that person really is.
Now if it were me...you seriously would get a boring post.
I got up, I homeschooled, I did the dishes, I cleaned a house, I ate supper, I watched a MASH (we love those!) I went to bed.
Now THAT's boring. And that's why you don't read a lot of my daily life, because that is really what you'd read every day. But you know what? I love my life. And when something 'exciting' comes along to blog about--like cleaning out my pantry, WOOHOO!--then I write about it. Or if the Lord puts something on my heart to share then I'll write.
Have a great day learning those new songs!
