Just came from breakfast with Hubs, his two sisters and their husbands, and one brother & wife, plus one nephew. It is our "tradition", if you will, to get together whenever the sisters are in town. One sister lives in Georgia, the other lives in California, but several hours away from us. It's always fun to get together with the family, although the reason for this meeting is because everyone is in town for the funeral today. We always have these early morning get-togethers, so I'm always sleepy upon arrival, but once we get to laughing and chatting with each other, it's so much fun. I love them all dearly, and even though they are here for a sad occassion, I'm glad for the chance to get to be with them. The death of our friend brings it home even more, the need to spend as much time with family as possible, because none of us are getting any younger, sowe should savor every chance to be together that we have.
Btw, today is day 32 of posting at least something every day. So far, so good, as for my daily writings, or ramblings, as I prefer to call it. I'm hoping next week will be a little more calm and I will be able to get over to visit all of you and have a little "chat" on your blogs, too. :=)

Hi Brenda,
That's what I miss about not being near my family, and can't wait to get back to CO sometime this year.
I have an "Interview Me" post up now. It'd be good for a post idea, if you want to participate.
Have a great visit with you family.
