Since there's only a little over two weeks left until the wedding shower, I thought I'd better get the old rear in gear and get some work done on it. Here's a pic of the baskets I'm making for the favors. 
Each basket will have a little bag of bath salts (homemade), a little bag of homemade soap petals, and a little pot of homemade lip balm. I still have to make all the stuff, and I have to get some more of the maribou to finish the baskets. But today, I'll be moving my furniture into my new office/craft/sewing room, and hopefully, I'll have time today to go to Michael's to get the rest of the stuff I need to finish up all the favors tomorrow.

Whew you made me "tireder." Les just took our company to the airport and I started picking up and doing laundry. Your "little" gifts are soo cute. Bring one Sunday so I can see it. I'll be "talking" w/you on IM later.

The little pin cushion is a jerry rigged sewn thingy. I really can't follow directions (okay won't follow them) so I always improvise.
I covered a purchased tomato pincusion with material.
I gather sewed (I'm sure there is a term for this) down the middle of a ribbon. I will then hot glue or sew it to the tomato part and add a pom pom cherry. I'll post a pic on the left side of my blog sometime soon and you can check it out. not my best work, but, sadly not my worst either.

That is so funny! We do think alike. Great idea using the party horns. I made mine from cardstock.
