Yesterday we were surprised to see and have lunch with our nephew and his family. In June 2007, I hosted this baby shower for his wife, April, and their new baby, Ruthie. Baby Ruthie is now about eighteen months old, and she is just the cutest little girl. She has grown so much. She has a little button nose and big, brown eyes, all topped off by a "crown" of curly locks all over her head. I haven't seen her since the summer, at our family reunion, as they live about two hours away from us. Ruthie's grandparents are Hubs' sister and brother-in-law who were in town this weekend for the funeral at our church on Saturday. Even though for a sad occasion, we got to spend time this weekend with a lot of our family. It made the sadness of the occasion a lot easier to bear.
