Hubs has been getting pretty tired of never having a place to sit in our livingroom because the cats are always laying in the chairs or on the sofa. He doesn't "have the heart" to disturb them from their naps, so we went to PetSmart and bought two kitty beds. If they like them, we'll get two more, so they'll each have their own little "spot". These are the two styles we got:

and this one, in blue: 
We brought them home, and so far, only Lucy will sleep on the blue bed. None of them like the pink one. We'll give it a couple of days and then decide if and which style we should get more of.

Cat Beds

Hmmm..I think if I got one of those for my cat she probably wouldn't use it. After all, she; not me; is the owner of everything!
The blue one does look more comfortable, but then again, we don't have any animals so I guess I wouldn't know! No help here!
What your needing to do is place those cat beds in the chairs they sleep in so they have no choice but to get into their new bed. Inconvenient for a little while, but then you can gradually place them where you want the beds to be full time.
If I had to pick one, I'd pick the lighter of the two...and make a shabby chic slip cover for it! lol
