No good blog fodder for today. Yesterday I spent the majority of the day searching records on Ancestry.com. I keep hoping that I'll be able to finally break thru those brick walls that I've been running into for the last several years. My ancestors moved waaaayyy too much, and when they did move they went to parts of the country and at times, where there were no records made of important events, like births and deaths. Plus the census takers back then were definately not the sharpest knives in the drawer. I will keep trying, as every little tidbit helps piece together the big picture.
Speaking of pictures, yesterday I posted pictures of two cat beds we had bought. We decided to let the cats make the choice of which style they like the best. With the exception of Cali, they seem to all prefer style number one. With it's high sides, they like feeling all snuggly when they curl up inside. So I think we'll be getting two more of that style.
I'm also in the market for a new camera. I liked my old one - a Canon PowerShot - but am open to something new. Anyone have any recommendations? Lemme know.
