Tussie Mussie Goodie Swap Pics

Okay, so a couple of days ago I wrote that I hadn't received my tussie mussie from my swap partner. I was a bit hasty in saying that, as it was in the mail, even as I was writing. I received the package yesterday, but was off to a family wedding so didn't have time to post pictures until today. So here is the tussie mussie that Tonia made for me. It's so pretty. I really love the way she "pleated" the paper and the trim. She also tucked inside it a string of buttons, and some flowers, and a pretty angel fairy that she made. I love the tussie mussie, and all the other goodies she sent along with it. Great job, Tonia! Thank you so much!

A couple of months ago I had given a baby shower for our niece, April. So yesterday at the wedding, April's mom was there, and she got this depression glass piece and gave it me as a thank you gift for doing the baby shower. I totally love it. I love depression glass, and I remember my mom having this particular color and style of depression glass coffee cups when I was a kid. So I was thrilled to receive it!
