Wow, I feel special! I've been tagged by Eileen to list 7 random things about myself. I've been giving this some thought and it's going to be harder than you might think to come up with 7 random things about myself. But, okay, here goes:
1. This is the first time I've ever been tagged by anyone since entering the blogging world, so I really do feel special that Eileen picked me to play along. Thanks, Eileen!
2. I am a member of the Choctaw Indian Tribe of southeastern Oklahoma. (Hubs said I should put this on the list.)
3. Like Eileen, I love to shop at Michael's. They lure me in every week with those coupons, and since I've found out that I can use Joann's coupons at Michael's and vice-versa, I'm there more than ever.
4. I eat ketchup on my grilled cheese sandwiches. Does anyone else do that? Hubs said I'm the only "weirdo" who would do such a thing (this from a person who doesn't eat ketchup on hamburgers - what's up with that?).
5. I've never been to the Grand Canyon.
6. My favorite color is pink, along with apple green.
7. I can't think of anything else to write! ha!

My Mundane-ness
So, I was looking at my blog and realized I haven't posted for almost 2 weeks now. I've been neglecting my pretty little blog, and after I made such a big deal about making my new header. Go figure!
Well, the reason for my blog neglect is because I've been busy. I've been making things for our women's meetings at church. Here's what I've been doing:
Been sewing chair covers for the folding chairs (because Artsy-Fartsy Cheryl pointed out how pretty our decorations are, but how bad those folding chairs look, so been making these covers.)
Made these "Napkin Thingys".
Re-did these toparies.
I've also been "torn away" from blogging by my lust for cooking shows on the Food Network. Ever since we got cable tv and I discovered the Food Network, I seem to spend way too many hours of every day watching the likes of Rachel Ray, Bobby Flay, Emeril, Paula Deen, and many more. Plus, twice a week, I've been doing an online course for operating a catering business.
So, there you have, folks, the mundane-ness (if that's even a real word) of my, er, um, exciting(?) life! I know you're all so glad I shared all of that with you.
O, and I've been tagged by Eileen to list 7 random things about myself. So I'll do that in another post.
TTFN people! :)

I Did It!
So, I was lurking on Heidi's blog at Vacuuming In High Heels And Pearls, when I came upon a site she found with pics to change your blog header. I have tried in the past but never could figure out how to change my header. So I popped over to the site and got directions. Turns out I figured out how to actually use my own pics for putting on my header, AND, I figured out how to actually change the header! I realize that for most of you out there in bloggerland that this is no big deal to you, but for me it is a VERY BIG THING! I've been wanting to "personalize" my blog ever since I started it, and still have not been able to do much except use pre-made templates from Blogger or Pizam. But now that I can change the header, maybe I can actually figure out how to change the rest of the template. (Well, one can dream, can't they? lol) If anyone out there knows how to change the template, and can put it in terms that a computer-challenged nerd like me can understand, please share. It would make me so happy - :).
I guess that's about all for today, unless I manage to get some changes made. Lemme know what ya'll think, okay. TTFN

Happy Birthday, C-Girl!
Isn't she lovely, isn't she wonderful! Isn't she pretty, truly the angel's best!
Today is my "baby's" 17th birthday. Hubs has always called her his little "Angel Face", and, I think anyhow, that she truly does have an angel face! Ever since she was 4 yrs. old, she has been "25" in her mind, and she still thinks she's bigger and older than what she is. I am very proud of her. She is smart, beautiful, and very determined to finish what she starts. And my prayer is that she will find joy and happiness and success in life! Happy Birthday, C-Girl! We love you!

Good Stuff
Today some good stuff came in the mail for me. For Christmas, hubby had given me a gift certificate to Paper Wishes, my fave online scrapbook store. I hadn't spent it yet because I couldn't make up my mind what I wanted from all the wonderful goodies they offer. But I finally made a decision and placed the order and today it arrived in my mail. Here's what I got: Heritage Scrapbook papers with lots of embellishments, Finished-In-A-Flash Kitchen Kit
scrapbook papers, Big Brads in greens,
and the Swirls clear acrylic stamps.
Later this afternoon I went to Joann's 'cause I had a 40% coupon burning a whole in my pocket. They had all their Easter stuff on sale @ 70% off, so I got 2 of these. They are so pretty in person, but I will be changing the purple to pink and use them for decorations for our upcoming Women's Fellowship for April. That color scheme is going to be pink and green (my fave's). I also got some pink and green sweet pea bushes for a buck each. O, and some white tulips, too. Got some pink & green scrapbook paper to make "napkin thingys" and will use green napkins with pink tableware in them. When I get one done, I'll post a pic of it.
I got some really pretty glittery eggs at the 99 Cent Store this morning, too. They are pink and green and I got them 2 for a buck! I just love getting things on sale, even at the 99 Cent Store. Tomorrow I'll have to hit Dollar Tree and see what goodies I can find there.
If I ever hope to get all this stuff made that I have planned, I'd better get off the computer and get to work. TTFN :)

Fixed! I Hope
Okay, I still have no idea what happened or how "it" happened, but somehow I seemed to have fixed the problem of my blog being messed up. I think I'll just blame it on the Hubs, since he's the one who changed stuff to begin with. He's very good with the computer and internet-related things, but he knows nothing about blogger (not that I'm any kind of expert on it myself). I can't put too much "blame" on him, though, because I promised a few weeks back that I would no longer make fun of him because he thinks he's a huge expert on all things computer related. I posted about it, I think. But when my computer crashed, he was able to retrieve all my pictures and other information that was all stored on my hard drive when the motherboard literally fried. I was a very happy camper then, and right now, I am again, since changing my email AGAIN seems to have fixed my blog.
Okay, enough whining for one day. Now I want to thank all you people who are new to my blog for visiting me and leaving comments and I hope you will continue to come by. I love to meet new people and it still amazes me that anyone is actually interested in my own mundane little life. I'm thankful for the friends I've made thru blogging. I love to read their blogs and read the comments they post to mine. And I know there are some of you who read my blog (you know who you are) that never post a comment. It's really not hard. Just click on the "comments" at the end of each post and type away! I've set things up so you don't have to have your own blog to post a comment on mine. So, ple-e-e-z-z-z, leave a comment! Okay, TTFN! :)

Help!
Okay, this thing is about to drive me even more crazy than I already am! I think my whole blogger identity has been totally screwed up. We are in the middle of changing ISPs and so I changed my email addy to a gmail account. They are thru Google. So is Blogger. After I changed my email, I tried to go to my blog and it made me change my whole identity to match my new email. Now no one can access my profile or my page (apparantly) and no one knows who I am. When I try to log into my blog from the new email and password, which is what comes up under my log-in, it sends me to a page that wants me to create a new blog. If I try to log in under the old name and password, it tells me I can't because my blog is under a different name now. I somehow made it thru the log-in process under the old name, only I don't have a clue how I finally got here. This whole thing probably makes no sense to anyone reading it, that is, if anyone will be reading it because who knows if anyone can find me anymore. I'm so confused. If anyone out there can help me solve this whole dilemma I will be so appreciative! I love my blog and don't want to lose it or have to start over from scratch. Please help - anyone, anywhere!
