Maiden Voyage

This is my maiden voyage into the world of blogging.  I haven't a clue about what I'm doing  or why I'm even doing it.  I just think it's so cool to read other people's blogs, so I decided it would be fun to have my own.  But am I vain, or what, to think other people would actually be interested in my mundane little thoughts or opinions.
Last week I went to a funeral and the minister remarked how the wife of the
deceased had journaled every single day for 69 years of marriage.  I admired 
that and thought, "Hmm...maybe I should startthat", and the blog idea seemed 
a good one to me.   So here I am.  Now, what to write about?
Whenever I write emails to my friends it seems as though I write short novels.  I rattle on and on about the dumbest things.  Now I have a forum to say whatever I want for as long as I want, and I can't think of a thing to say.  So far, only 2 people even know I have a blog, and they already know all about me, and seem to like me anyhow, so I really have nothing to say at this time.  
But check back from time to time, blogger fans, because I'm sure I will figure out something to say eventually!
