But God!

The Scripture tells us that satan brings things on us because he means for them to harm us in every way possible. But God, in His loving kindness and tender mercy, uses those very things for our good.
For the last four years, my brother has been battling cancer. During this time, there have been a number of complications that have happened that should have killed him. I say, should have, because that's how satan intended it to be. But God has performed a miracle each time, and brought him thru each crisis.
The most recent thing that happened is that there was a tumor on my brother's spine that, if not shrunk, would result in total paralysis, which would result in death. He was scheduled for surgery yesterday. The surgeon was hopeful that, at best, he could remove part of the tumor, enough to relieve the pressure. But he also warned that death could occur as a result of the surgery, too.
So many people were praying for a miracle yesterday. When the surgeon finally got to the tumor, he found that, from previous chemo and radiation, the tumor had hard jagged edges on it, and that made it possible for him to be able to get hold of the tumor and remove the entire thing! Satan meant this to kill my brother, but God! God performed another miracle. And today, less than twenty-four hours after the surgery, he not only left ICU, but he was up and left ICU in a wheelchair instead of a gurney. AND, awake and alert!
I am so thankful to God that, once again, He has performed a miracle and spared my brother's life. I am thankful that He's given strength to my brother as well as my sister-in-law. I am thankful that our oldest brother was able to be at the hospital with them, as none of the rest of our family lives in the same state.
God is so good! When you go through trials, remember, satan means it for your harm, but God will turn it around for your good. Always trust in Him! He'll never leave us nor forsake us!

That's such an awesome testimony. It reminds me of my sister's story.
God is so good isn't He?

I tried to send you a comment earlier, but I guess it didn't go through. I've had no internet all day long! Anywho....

What an AMAZING BLESSING your brother was given. It truely was a gift from God that the doctors were able to remove his tumor successfully! I fully believe in the power of prayer! Thanks for sharing your brothers miracle :-)
